Fleur Vler (2000) is an artist from Rotterdam, currently based in Ghent, Belgium.
Currently Fleur is graduating from LUCA School of Arts with a bachelor’s degree in textile design.
Exploring, amongst others, cyberfeminism and double weaving techniques,
she is now focusing mostly on weaving and its interconnections with open-source computer programming.
Her work explores themes around the creation of tools, digital or physical, ranging
from building a spinning wheel from scrap bike material to coding a webpage made to easily create patterns out of lace.
